Umm
We are at UTK And we sit in GA
The Russian Federation grows weary with irritation
Brought on by the "um" of Singapore
We do not need to hear anymore
Make her sit down and make her wait
She turned it over to Dis for heaven's sake
She in turn says her share of "um"s *
Which sounds worse than the Harp Keith strums.
Always on the list is Singapore
How is it that we will stand anymore?
"Um" this and "um" that
Through each sentence she spat
For each phrase beginning
The word's incessance is winning
It eats at my mind
This word that's unkind
It disturbs my attention
Please give her time suspension!
Will her likeness-to-Robotnik
Still speak on other topic?
"um" this and "um" that
Through each sentence she spat
For each phrase beginning
The word's incessance is winning
I shaln't take anymore
This dame of Singapore
It grates at my mind
Her word that's unkind
Will it go on any longer
This word that makes my brain less stronger?
For this abuse I will not stand
From this lass of other land
Please Mr. Chair do sit her down
Afore I turn to clown
My brain to mush does turn
No hope for her to learn
This insanity she does cause
Without starting with other clause
The numerous "um"s she dost repeat
Before long I may think really neat
A simple muzzle won't stop her "um"
For it comes from guttural hum
Please tie me down
I'm now a clown
Insanity I've reached
Like whale for long was beached
"Um" this and "um" that
Through each sentence she spat
For each phrase was begun
The word's incessance now has won.

Author's Notes: The first few lines were actually written by AJ (* denotes where AJ quit writing) at UTHSMUN my sophomore year. He surprised me by walking up to me during GA and told me to finish it up. It was spurred by a delegate from Singapore...who, literally, said "Umm" over 20 times in a single sentence. Wild, isn't it?
