Panama City Beach

Here's a nice little bit from our Band Trip down to Panama City, Florida.  It was fun, though a generic trip.  Take a look.

Justin King- one of my roomates- sets up our homely, portable room system...which was quite NIICCCEEEE!!

AHH! The Sasquatch!! Oh, wait, it's only AJ!

Sand castle building contractors

Joey and Jamie are being buried by Ben and Diana...more weight?

Ben Taylor tests my camera's shutter speed- HA! no blur!

Wendy's offers some great Kid's Meals toys...like these cars- that we launch at each other...BOOM! Blurrage

CRASH! blurrage

SKAPOW! blurrage

SHABLAMY! blurrage

Jon Taylor...another of my roomates, who was unfortunately sick our entire stay in Panama City

Sharkey's a pretty good seafood restaurant- that even sells shark meat!

The ceiling ornaments in Sharkey's were...extravagant

sunset over the ocean

sunrise over the city...our hotel...

the horizon

If you look closely, you can see the moon- it was setting early in the morning- and it was REAL red...

footprints in the sand...a real thought provoker...

waves washing away my steps

a shell in the sand, being washed up by the waves...

a wave at wave-level...very risky w/ an electronic camera. When I took this shot, I looked a bit closer at teh surf and was VERY surprised to see...

Sting Rays!!! A V-formation of 4 of them. I was so close...

...and I pursued them down the beach...

sun rising over the hotel- nice timing, i'd say

Bob Rhinehart- a character and a half! We were leaving for home, and at our last breakfast buffet, he ate, AND got a to- go box.

some construction work on a bridge right outside of Panama City

...I was personally amazed at the pylons laid beneath this power pole...imagine how long they had to be!!

Railroad tracks right outside of Panama City

The Golden Arches...Mickey D's...I thought this was the most stylistic one I've ever seen...so, I had to pull my camera up for a quick shot as we passed by

...more railroad tracks- there's just something about looking straight down a set of railroad tracks- imagining your looking into infinity...

...still more railroad tracks

there's actually a train on those railroad tracks- but you can hardly tell

a water tower...not very inspirational- but who wouldnt want a picture of a water tower?

Courtney- the first picture, to my knowledge, that she ever freely gave- she even claims non-photogeneticy

Julie being her normal, chipper self

...when you see one, you undoubtedly have to see the other...they come in a box set!

...the results of random camera raising and taking pictures over the back of your head- you never know what you're gonna get- and sometimes you strike gold!

Proof of Mrs. Horner's abuse of our bus' TV/VCR...something about bus 3- it ALWAYS breaks down...

Cori Leonard, asleep...the camera got passed around all too much...but everybody got to take a picture of something interesting...

Cori and Alisha...not too thrilled about this long bus ride home...

...more proof- that even Mr Chambers abused our bus' TV/VCR...hmmm, blackmail...

My foot. No, I dont have a foot fetish. I just wanted to point out my only sunburn from the entire trip- the top half of my foot!

rock-a-by AJ, on the window...

this picture doesnt really come "right-side-up"...it's kinda tilted...but thats Bob asleep

Mrs "Sparky" Horner

okay, whoever had my camera...NOT a pretty picture...but you should see the one Julie got w/ her camera just as I woke up...!!!

thr rare Courtney has been captured again

Bob, on an intimidating level...

lions and tigers and AJ's OH MY!!!

more Cori

we were finally gettin' back near Chattanooga...and to what? A rain cloud! Though, the sun's light behind the clouds made for a nice photo
